The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic, or better known as Confessions of a Shopaholic in the United States, is the first in the popular Shopaholic series. The books follow protagonist Rebecca Bloomwood through her adventures in shopping and life. But is primarily known for her Shopaholic series of novels. Sophie has written seven standalone novels which have all been bestsellers in the UK, USA and other countries around the world: Can You Keep A Secret?, The Undomestic Goddess, Remember Me?, Twenties Girl, I’ve Got Your Number, Wedding Night, and My Not So Perfect Life. Wickham worked as a financial journalist before turning to fiction. The eldest sister of fellow writers Gemma and Abigail Townley, Sophie Kinsella was educated at Putney High School, St Mary's School, Shaftesbury, Sherborne School for Girls, and New College, Oxford, where she initially studied Music, but after a year switched to Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Madeleine Sophie Wickham, also known under the pen name Sophie Kinsella, is an English author.
